Industries, institutions contribute to the CM fund
Several industries, industry associations, voluntary organizations, hospitals, educational institutions and individuals in the districts of Coimbatore and Tiruppur presented a check to Chief Minister MK Stalin for the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund during his visit to the two districts Thursday.
According to an official press release, the total contribution to Coimbatore on Thursday was ₹ 32 crore and in Tiruppur it was ₹ 2.7 crore.
The Southern India Mills’ Association donated ₹ 2.25 crore to Coimbatore and the CRI group ₹ 3 crore. KNR Construction donated ₹ 2 crore.
Mr. Manickam from Sakthi Group, Ms. Vanitha Mohan from Pricol, GKNM Hospital, Mr. Rangaswamy from PSG Group, Mr. Ramaswamy from Roots Group, Mr. Lakshmi Narayanawami from Ramakrishna Hospital and Educational Institutions and SNR Sons, Shanthi Feeds, GVG Paper group, Coimbatore Corporation Contractors Association, Highways Contractors Association, Smart City Contractors Association, Mr. Narendar of Aquasub and Tamil Nadu Rice Mill Owners Association presented checks of 1 crore each.
Dr Madeshwaran from Royal Care Hospital, Dr Rajasekar of Ganga Hospital, Coonoor Tea Estates, Maruthamalai Senathipathi, Contractors of Rural Development Agency, M. Kannaiyan and Ms Saraswathi from Hindusthan College, Anitha Texcoit, KG Denim, Ambika Cotton Mills, Dhanapal from Coimbatore Corporation West and Karpagam Medical College and Hospital donated checks of 50 lakh each.
Mr. Rajkumar from Confederation of Indian Textile Industry, CREDAI, Miners and Miners, Mr. Kannappan from Kiscol, TWAD Entrepreneurs, Mr. Anish from Suguna Industries, Mr. KV Karthik from Deccan Pumps, Sumangali Jewelers , LGB Group, and Dr. Palanivel from Gem Hospital donated 25 lakh each.
Lakshmi Ceramics, Vinod-Sonali Textiles, Eppinger Tools Asia donated 15 lakh each.
Dr Karthikeyan Raju from Kongunadu Hospital, Dr Hariprasad and Dr Gokul from Kumaran Hospital, Dr Thangavel from PPG Hospital, Dr Manoharan from NH Hospital, Dr Senthil from Abirami Hospital, Coimbatore and Tiruppur Tiny and Micro Entrepreneurs Association, Arthi Associates Muthuraman, Velcro Foundation, Mr. 10 lakh each.
Rajasthani Sangh donated ₹ 11 lakh, Oshima – ₹ 12 lakh, RSK Constructions (₹ 20 lakh) were the other contributors. The SIDCO Industrial Estate Manufacturers Welfare Association donated 12.5 lakh.
Mr. Krishnan (Paiya Gounder) donated ₹ 75.25 lakh and Minister K. Ramachandran donated ₹ 29 lakh on behalf of Nilgiris district.
Osma Industries and the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board employee association donated checks of 16 lakh each. Children’s silambu champion Pragathi donated ₹ 25,000 and ₹ 1,250 to Dwarakesh.
Ramraj Cotton’s KR Nagarajan handed over a check for ₹ 1 crore to Tiruppur. Raja M. Shanmugham, President of the Tiruppur Exporters Association handed over a check for 50 lakh.
Other contributions to Tiruppur included 15 lakh each from V. Palaniswami of JV Tapes and AC Easwaran from the South Indian Stocking Manufacturers Associations.
And, 10 lakh each from A. Sakthivel of Poppys Exports, S. Murugasamy of Tiruppur Dyers Association, V. Raghupathi of Tiruppur West Rotary, Sigamani of KRC Housing and Infrastructure company, Moorthy of Tiruppur West Rotary, Murugesan of Jagathguru Textiles, Dr Thangavel of Coimbatore and Arumugham from the agencies of Vigneshwara.
Rathinasamy and Rajamani of the Knitted Fabric Manufacturers Association each donated 5 lakh.
