Mark Lewis named president of Tulsa World Media Group
Mark Lewis, publisher and president of the Wisconn Valley Media Group, has been promoted to president of the Tulsa World Media Group.
Lewis was editor of The temperature since 2009 and, following the acquisition of United Communications Corporation by Lee Enterprises in 2019, its role as publisher was extended to the Kenosha News and Lake Geneva Regional News. Prior to his time in Wisconsin, Lews served as editor of The (Kauai, Hawaii) garden island.
Announcing his promotion, Chris White, President of Lee Enterprises Western Media Group, said “Mark has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional performance and building strong, high-performing teams.”
While in Racine, Lewis was active in the community, having served as Chairman of the Racine Area Manufacturers and Trade Board of Directors, Vice Chairman of the Racine County Economic Development Corporation, and member of the Board of Directors of the Wheaton Foundation.
Stephanie Jones, editor of the Regional News and former editor of The temperature, will oversee the news as regional editor for Southeast Wisconsin. She will work directly with Adam Rogan, editor of The temperatureand John Sloca, editor of the newspaper Kenosha News.
Clint Wiedholz will continue to manage advertising in Racine and Rob Ireland will continue to oversee advertising operations in Kenosha and Lake Geneva.
