Speaking ahead of the unveiling, Governor Sule praised the program’s leadership for choosing to build the factories in the state, promising to sponsor and support the Ventures.
“One of the comments actually made by Mr Vice President, which I also agree with, is exactly the need for us, not just to get a degree, but to get a skill. So with those, I want to thank you for your vision to redefine and invigorate the NYSC as a whole.
“You have done wonderfully well. I have been to several of your events one of which was an opportunity to visit the NYSC museum that you have and without mincing words just as the Emir of Lafia mentioned no matter how many years NYSC continues to stand first we’ll be you our signature will be there.
“You came and redefine the NYSC. You created a museum, set up acquisition centers all over the country and today you are so lucky to have been able to have NYSC now generating revenue and returning revenue to the federal government for the first times in NYSC history so you have indeed redefined that.
“At one of the events I attended, the initiator of the NYSC as a whole, Gowon, had to sincerely thank you for bringing his vision back to life.
“I want to assure you that by the grace of God, we will not just patronize the products you have here, we will find ways to work together as a team, because this is timely.
“People who come for the skills are likely to find a job or work right next door here. The Unity we are talking about, that our Founding Fathers had in mind and it is the dream that we all continue to carry.
“I want to thank you for driving this dream and I strongly believe that by the grace of God, Nigeria will prevail, our leaders will continue to lead with the wisdom to overcome all the challenges we have. Our leaders need our prayers, they need our cooperation, they need our support.
“And I urge each of us to continue to provide this kind of support to our leaders so that we can continue to win,” he said.
