The CRB organizes an annual conference on sustainable development (November 2-4, 2022)
The Center for Responsible Business (CRB), a sustainability-focused think tank, will organize the annual Sustainability Conference – “India and Sustainability Standards” (ISS 2022) from 2-4 November 2022 in Delhi.
The event will be held in a hybrid format and the theme for this year’s conference is Putting nature and people first in business to create measurable impacts.
The event will address many other topics, including family-friendly policies: improving worker productivity in the garment and textile industry; Sustainable consumption and production in India; Drive livelihoods impacts through a living wage/living income approach; Better Cotton grassroots interventions and policy advocacy: a way forward to promote more sustainable production in India; Role of SMEs for India’s Commitment to Net Zero.
Last year, the ISS hosted over 850 participants and more than 50 partners ranging from policy makers and civil society representatives to industry leaders.
Shombi Sharp, United Nations Resident Coordinator, India; Erik Solheim, 6th Executive Director, United Nations Environment Programme; Suresh Prabhu, Former Union Minister and Upendra Prasad Singh, Secretary of Ministry of Textiles and many stalwarts from various fields will speak at the conference.
